On the 1st July 2021, the official launch of New Zealand’s newest gin distillery, situated on the foothills of Mt Fyffe in the picturesque district of Kaikōura will take place. Woolshed and Shearwater Gin will be flowing along with a grazing table and a wee speech about the fantastic journey I’ve been on over the last two years to get me to launch.
I am so excited to bring these two story inspired gins to the public. Being able to offer two distinctly different blends has allowed me to showcase what botanics are on offer in this beautiful neck of the woods. From the mountains to the sea, with a farm in between… I have a few busy months ahead, I am looking forward to this new chapter in my gin story from entering the gin industry as a small boutique distillery, to growing my business, increasing its sustainability and donating to worthy causes… bring it on
We were there last week and loved the tour of your distillery. Your gin was and is fantastic as we bought bottles to bring back to the states. I particularly like the tasting and now believe that juniper berry is my go to snack. Thanks again.
